Package Assisting Small Exporters (PASE) Round 2

Overview

In the 2014-15 budget, the government committed $15 million over four years through the Package Assisting Small Exporters (PASE). This election commitment included three components: Rebates offered to small exporters for export certification registration costs in 2014-15 only;  Review of export fees and charges, through government-industry consultative committees in 2014-15; and The balance of funding would be used for projects that would directly benefit small exporters – PASE grants. There is funding available under the projects component for initiatives that improve market access for small exporters of dairy, egg / fish, grain and plant products, horticulture and meat products. Funding is available in 2016-17 and 2017-18, and projects must complete by 30 June 2018.
