Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water
Overview
The purpose of the eWater Source Delivery 2025-26 grant opportunity is to support eWater Ltd (eWater) to deliver and maintain the Source hydrological (water) modelling software program. The Source software program (Source) is critical to water management in Australia and is relied upon by multiple stakeholders including state and territory governments, the Murray–Darling Basin Authority, water utilities, and water corporations. It contributes to the health of rivers and wetlands and the sustainable, efficient and productive use of Australia’s water resources. The objective of the grant is to ensure continued supply and maintenance of Source to stakeholders. The intended outcome of the grant is to ensure that eWater has the means to supply and support Source to stakeholders, except the Queensland government.
