To ensure a tripartite approach, grant funding is available to the state and territory Trades and Labour Councils (TLCs) and peak employer organisations to address gender segregation challenges at an industry or occupation level. This will help ensure initiatives are fit-for-purpose, responsive and can be scaled up, tailored or pivoted to meet demands as they arise within the pilot program but also afterwards as learning are applied more broadly. TLCs may submit joint applications (with each other and/or the Australian Council of Trade Unions), in which case they would be eligible to receive up to the combined total of grant funds for which they are eligible.
