India@75: Celebrations Grant Program

Overview

The Celebrations grant program contributes to the Australian Government’s ambitious bilateral agenda under the Australia-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. In partnership with the Indian High Commission, DFAT is planning a year-long program of events in Australia to celebrate India’s 75th year of independence. DFAT will use India@75 celebrations to showcase our commitment to the CSP, build Australia’s India literacy, and lay the ground for deeper economic and people-to-people links. The India@75: Celebrations grant program will provide opportunities for Australian organisations and individuals to highlight cultural collaborations. It seeks to deliver fresh focus to our ties with India by showcasing cultural collaboration between Australia and India. In so doing, it supports the objectives identified in the Australia-India CSP.
