Department of Health and Aged Care
Overview
The grant opportunity will provide additional mental health support in response to COVID-19 outbreaks. The grant opportunity aims to: • support and improve the mental health and wellbeing of Australians impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic; • increase the capacity of mental health services to meet the increasing demand from people impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional funding may be allocated to mental health services and supports during the COVID-19 pandemic at the discretion of the Australian Government. As regionally based commissioning organisations, the Government may provide funding to PHNs to commission other primary health care services, or provide sector support in the delivery of trials, time-limited activities or the implementation of programs to support specific priorities identified by government.
