Aged Care Consumer Peak Body Funding

Overview

The Aged Care Consumer Peak Body Funding grant opportunity will run for one year (2025-26) with an option for an additional year (2026-27). Future funding beyond this is being considered alongside broader government reforms to aged care.  This grant opportunity seeks to support aged care consumer peak bodies to ensure that the perspectives of older people, and particularly those with diverse characteristics, backgrounds and life experiences, are represented in the development of aged care policy and programs. There is a particular focus on informing the Commonwealth Government and assisting the aged care sector in addressing barriers to consumers accessing safe, equitable, inclusive and quality aged care.  In addition, the funding is also for the provision of aged care policy advice to government, contribution to the aged care sector reform agenda, and promotion of the views and aspirations of constituencies of aged care consumer peak bodies with respect to ageing and aged care.  The objectives and outcomes of the grant opportunity align with, and support, the imperatives and priorities identified in the Aged Care Diversity Framework to support older people with diverse characteristics, backgrounds and life experiences.  To view the grant opportunity documents, please select the red "Grant Opportunity Documents" button on the left-hand side.
