Overview
The Australian Government is providing funding of $2.94 million (GST exclusive) to the Australian Psychological Society (APS) to continue to deliver the Disaster Response Network (DRN). The purpose of this grant activity is to provide funding to enable the DRN to continue to support frontline and emergency services workers and expand their membership and reach. The DRN will provide wellbeing, psychological first aid and wellbeing checks to frontline and emergency services workers, responding to service gaps in mental health support for emergency services workers, where emergency services workers are not required to self-identify or seek help to receive mental health first aid.
