Equally Well Expansion Program

Overview

The grant opportunity aims to improve the physical health and wellbeing of people living with mental illness. With the grant, Equally Well will continue to provide a national platform and central coordination point for work across Australia addressing the mortality gap and reduced quality of life of people living with a mental illness. Equally Well will: 1. Respond to Action 14.1 of the Productivity Commission Inquiry Report into Mental Health 2. Support the Fifth National Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plan (2017) 3. Deliver outcomes in the National Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plan (2021) 4. Contribute to the achievement of the Health Portfolio Budget Statement (2021-22) under Outcome 1: Health Policy, Access and Support; Program 1.2: Mental Health
