General Practice Mental Health Standards Collaboration (GPMHSC)

Overview

The GPMHSC is part of the Better Access to Psychiatrists, Psychologists and General Practitioners through the Medicare Benefits Schedule initiative. The role of GPMHSC is to support GPs to deliver primary mental health care through providing education and training to GPs to deliver services under the initiative. The purpose of the GPMHSC Future Funding Arrangements Grant Opportunity is to provide funding to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) to establish and maintain standards of mental health education and training for GPs through the GPMHSC.
