Overview

The objectives of the CJD Scheme are: national surveillance and epidemiology of human transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSE, also known as prion disease) in Australia (Stream 1); and to continue the Australian Government’s commitment to provide ongoing support to improve the wellbeing of Australian Human Pituitary Hormone Program participants and their families (Stream 2).
