Overview
The objective of the grant opportunity is to support the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency to increase the pool of appropriately trained health practitioners registered and available to work in COVID-related roles, or to backfill where needed. In addition, a surge capacity of recently retired and non-practicing health practitioners is to be established and maintained for the duration of the pandemic (to a maximum timeframe of 12 months). Other work, related to communicating with practitioners on changes to standards of practice as determined by the National Cabinet, is also supported through this grant.
