Overview

The Indigenous Remote Service Delivery Traineeship (IRSDT) - NT, provides customised training to increase the skills and expertise of Indigenous Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service staff in the NT. The IRSDT NT program provides a nationally-accredited Diploma of Leadership and Management qualification to NT ACCHS staff through a localised and contextualised curriculum.  The expected outcome of the program is to improve work force capacity, increase the leadership and management skills of the local workforce, strengthen health services management structures and reduce workforce shortages within the Aboriginal health sector in the NT. The objective of this funding is to contribute to support the wages of participants who are employed by an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service and who are completing studies under the Indigenous Remote Service Delivery Traineeship (IRSDT) NT Diploma of Leadership and Management.
