Male Health Initiative

Overview

The purpose of the grant is to support male health organisations with their core work of maintaining information and awareness on key health issues (e.g., mental health, chronic conditions, sexual and reproductive health) for Australian males. This includes providing support to men and/or help directing men to needed support; developing national policy and programs relating to men; and gathering and reporting on evidence and trends relating to male health issues. It contributes to the achievement of the Public Health and Chronic Disease Program (program) under Outcome 1 – Health Policy, Access and Support, Program 1.5: Preventive Health and Chronic Disease Support.
