Miscarriage Support

Overview

Miscarriage support grants will fund one or more organisations with demonstrated expertise in providing care and support to women and families impacted by miscarriage with a focus on priority population groups, including (but not limited to): women who have suffered a previous miscarriage First Nations women and families women and families from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds migrant and refugee groups women and families living in rural and remote Australia women younger than 20 years Grant activities will address barriers to priority population groups accessing support and will develop clear referral pathways to miscarriage support services, ensuring that bereaved women and families can access support at a time when they are at most risk of isolation and psychological distress. This grant activity will address gaps in current national approaches by funding organisations that specialise in miscarriage/early pregnancy loss.
