Program of Assistance for Survivors of Torture and Trauma (PASTT) Extension
Department of Health and Aged Care
Overview
The purpose of the grant opportunity is to continue funding organisations that provide specialist counselling services and other supports to those who are experiencing psychological and/or psychosocial difficulties resulting from their pre-migration experiences of torture and trauma. The grant opportunity also provides for the delivery of community capacity building activities that help mainstream health and community organisations better support successful resettlement of refugees. The grant will contribute to the outcomes and objectives of PASTT by allowing the funded organisations to continue to provide specialist counselling services to people who have experienced pre-migration torture and trauma and community capacity building activities that help the mainstream population.
