Overview

The Health Workforce Program contributes to the Department of Health’s Outcome 1.4 – Health Workforce.   The objective of the Program 1.4: Health Workforce is to ensure Australia has the workforce necessary to improve the health and wellbeing of all Australians. It also aims to improve the quality, distribution, and planning of the Australian health workforce to better meet the needs of the community and deliver a sustainable, well distributed health workforce.   The Rural Locum Assistance Program (RLAP) is an important component of the Health Workforce Program.   To view the grant opportunity documents, please select the red "GO Documents" button on the left hand side.
