Department of Health and Aged Care
Overview
This grant opportunity will deliver additional support to the Self-Management and Recovery Training (SMART) Recovery online treatment meeting platform to increase options for Australians seeking drug and alcohol treatment and recovery. The objectives of the grant opportunity are: • continue to support the delivery of SMART Recovery face-to-face weekly meetings on the newly developed online meeting platform, allowing those without access to face-to-face services to be able to access evidence-based peer support online in the comfort of their own home • continue to support the delivery of the SMART Ways Solid Ways, an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander specific Self-Management and Recovery Training (SMART) program • maintain the digital Learning Management System (Facilitator Hub) to support Facilitators of SMART Meetings nationally • maintain the current website to be a participant portal with free recovery and addiction information for all community members. The intended outcomes of the grant opportunity are: • to ensure that all Australians are supported to manage problematic behaviours related to addiction by providing online access to treatment services to all individuals and reduce the impact of drugs and alcohol across Australia. The performance of the organisation against objectives and outcomes will be measured by key performance indicators, which may be a mix of quantitative and qualitative measures. The eligible organisation is encouraged to consider additional key performance indicators that would be appropriate to the grant activity.
