Alcohol and Drug Information Network
Department of Health, Disability and Ageing
Overview
The Alcohol and Drug Information Network (ADIN) supports prevention and early intervention activities and promotes evidence-based information about alcohol and other drugs (AOD) through education. The ADIN launched in 2001 as a central point of access to quality-assured, internet-based AOD information. The purpose of this grant opportunity is to support the commitments that underpin the three pillars (demand, supply and harm reduction) of Australia’s National Drug Strategy 2017-2026 through building the evidence base, evidence-informed practice and innovation, and developing organisations’ and individuals’ capability. Funding for the ADIN will support Australian’s access of evidence-based AOD information through increasing the quantity and quality of Information Service offerings.
