Overview

The purpose of this grant opportunity is to provide $150 million over four years from 2025-26 to 2028-29 to Flinders University (Flinders) for the construction of a new healthcare facility on the Flinders campus in Adelaide – the Flinders HealthCARE Centre.  The Flinders HealthCARE Centre is a partnership between Flinders and the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network.  The Flinders HealthCARE Centre will be located just north of the recently completed Health and Medical Research Building on land the University owns in freehold at its Bedford Park Campus in the southern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. The completed facility will include a public clinic and consulting spaces, student learning and support spaces and staff and research spaces across 10 floors. The lower level of the building will accommodate 93 consulting and/or treatment spaces providing health services to the community. The upper floors are to accommodate core learning and research activities, delivered in a combination of general teaching spaces, specialised laboratory and simulation spaces, informal learning and student spaces, as well as the provision of facilities for academic and professional staff.   To view the grant opportunity documents, please select the red "Grant Opportunity Documents" button on the left-hand side.
