Overview

The purpose of this grant opportunity is to purchase a site and construct a new Health and Housing Clinic (the Clinic) in Brisbane’s West End, Queensland. The Clinic aims to create a welcoming and inclusive space for vulnerable individuals and low-income residents under one roof to access essential services and connect with peers and the community.  Once the infrastructure works are complete, the purpose-built facility will provide free primary health care and allied health services to people experiencing disadvantage, social isolation and homelessness. The Clinic will host a wide range of health services including bulk billed GP and nurse care, free dental services, allied health services including podiatry, wellness therapies and women’s health services. The proposed investment will allow operational flexibility to meet the health service needs of the local community.
