Quality Use of Pathology Project Grants 2025-2027

Overview

As part of the 2023-24 Budget Measure A Modern and Clinically Appropriate Medicare Benefits Schedule the Quality Use of Pathology Program (QUPP) was incorporated into the Quality Use of Diagnostics, Therapeutics and Pathology Program (QUDTP) from 1 July 2024.  Under the QUDTP grant rounds will be held every 2-3 years for each of the three grant streams:   Health Professional Education (currently closed, future Grant Opportunities will be advertised on GrantConnect)  Consumer Health Literacy (currently closed, future Grant Opportunities will be advertised on GrantConnect), and   Quality Use of Pathology (QUP) (this grant opportunity).   This grant opportunity will invest in projects that support the pathology sector and relevant interested parties to collaborate on innovative approaches to improve pathology related practices, including those that improve the economic efficiency, sustainability and quality delivery of the MBS pathology items, amongst requesters/referrers, providers, and consumers of pathology services.  You may submit more than one application form.
