Inspiring Australia - Science Engagement Program: Inspiring Australia Network

Overview

The Inspiring Australia Network is a collaboration between the Commonwealth, state and territory Governments, and host organisations. It is a national community of committed partners, state and territory nodes and committees across Australia. It is made up of local leaders who work with all levels of government, business, community groups, and formal and informal educators to increase STEM engagement through strategic planning, networking, providing grants and coordinating activities, to support the development of scientifically engaged communities for the benefit of Australia’s future. Establishment and maintenance of state and territory Inspiring Australia Network nodes are supported through grant arrangements under two elements of the program: National Science Week Targeted Science Communication. Each host organisation delivers the two components for their state or territory node.
