Overview
The purpose of the Multiple Purpose Taxi (MPT) Grant is to encourage the promotion of wheelchair accessible taxi availability within the NT’s commercial passenger vehicle (CPV) industry, and to provide significant financial relief to MPT operators to fit-out their eligible CPVs with the relevant equipment. This grant only covers the fees for the vehicle modification and the purchase and installation of relevant equipment to fit-out a vehicle as an MPT, it does not cover any other fees, such as taxi meters, security cameras, EFTPOS systems, dispatch systems, etc.
