Community-led Solutions Economic Development Tranche 3

Overview

The Australian Government is inviting organisations, via a restricted process, to apply to deliver services under the Families and Communities Program - Welfare Payments Reform – Income Management – Community-led Solutions Economic Development Tranche 3 (CSED T3) from 2024-25 to 2025-26.  The purpose of the CSED T3 grant opportunity is to create self-sustaining and ongoing local job opportunities for First Nations people and their communities, through community-led capital infrastructure projects. The resulting infrastructure projects will strengthen community economic development, build capability, and promote self-determination.    CSED T3 responds to feedback and advocacy from community leaders and key stakeholders seeking to break the cycle of welfare dependence by providing pathways to employment. CSED T3 builds on previous CSED grant opportunities seeking to support vulnerable and disadvantaged people, particularly First Nations people, on pathways to self-resilience and empowerment through local community driven solutions that strengthen economic participation in selected regional communities.
