Indigenous Advancement Strategy (IAS) Grant Contract Extensions – December 2022

Overview

The grant opportunity offers an extension of up to 2 years for eligible IAS funded NIAA grant recipients who have a funding agreements due to expire on or before 31 December 2022 under IAS Programs 1.2 Children and Schooling and 1.3 Safety and Wellbeing. The activities support a range of services for First Nations peoples, many of which are early childhood and education projects. These activities are complementary to other funding sources, address gaps in mainstream services and meet the critical need in many communities across Australia.  During the 2 year period NIAA will work with stakeholders to transition funding arrangements to better align with priorities and targets set by the Closing the Gap National Agreement.
