Queensland Education Experience Program

Overview

Subsidies of up to $150 per student are available through the Great Barrier Reef Education Experience Program and the Outback Queensland Education Experience Program, supporting Queensland primary and secondary school students and registered home educators to take curriculum-aligned excursions to the Great Barrier Reef or Outback Queensland. Applications must be submitted and approved at least 4 weeks before the excursion departure date, and are open until 31 December 2029 or until funding is allocated. Note: applicants are Queensland schools and registered home educators, not community organisations.
