Allied Health Rural Generalist Pathway and Allied Health Assistant Workforce Package

Overview

The Allied Health Rural Generalist Pathway builds on the established platform of the Allied Health Rural Generalist Workforce Education Scheme Pilot Project. The expansion of the pilot will provide additional Workplace Training Grants and will boost the implementation of the pathway across a broad range of rural and remote service providers, working in primary care, aged care, and the disability service sectors. The Allied Health Assistant Workforce Package will enhance conditions for thirty new Allied Health Assistants, who will support Allied Health Practitioners and assist practices to deliver local allied health service capacity in rural and remote Australia.
