Overview
The purpose of this grant opportunity is to establish and support a new end-to-end rural medical program in the Northern Territory, to be operated by Charles Darwin University (CDU). Traditionally, medical schools have been delivered primarily in metropolitan locations with some time spent in rural locations. However, end-to-end rural medical schools deliver training across the full program in a rural or regional area. CDU will utilise 40 commencing Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) provided by the Department of Education for this rural medical school program.
