Overview

The Improving respite care for people with dementia and their carers program provides funding for a range of activities to increase access to dementia–specific respite support services.   The ‘Staying at Home: National delivery and sector support’ grant opportunity provides funding for two years for the period 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2027. The purpose of this closed non-competitive grant opportunity is to engage a provider to:  Continue the delivery of combined respite care (the Staying at Home Program) for people living with dementia and their carers in locations across all states and territories, with a focus on rural and regional areas and other locations where no other organisations deliver similar activities; and  Continue to provide support to other funded organisations to build their capacity to deliver similar respite activities, including program resources and learning materials, by applying the principles of the Staying at Home program.  To view the grant opportunity documents, please select the red "Grant Opportunity Documents" button on the left-hand side.
