Overview

Under the above program, the Australian Government is providing funding of $1.187 million, over three years (2023-24 to 2025-26), to champion a national approach and align cardiovascular disease (CVD) research efforts to improve patient care and outcomes.   The purpose of this grant opportunity is to bring together a nationally integrated approach that moves research activities into alignment with the health system priorities across all jurisdictions: in primary and acute care, prevention, treatment and secondary prevention, and includes identifying and addressing gaps and inequities in regional, rural and remote areas. By using a state-based, nodal model, individual jurisdictions will have coordinated access to high calibre, whole-of-pipeline solutions relevant to them.  To view the grant opportunity documents, please select the red "Grant Opportunity Documents" button on the left-hand side.
