Extension of the Remote Accord

Overview

The purpose of the grant opportunity is to support the Aged Care Workforce Remote Accord (the Remote Accord) to provide an effective channel for communication between relevant remote and very remote aged care providers and government, including by providing input on the impacts of and transition to the Aged Care Act 2024 (the new Act).  The Remote Accord provides a unified voice on the advancement of quality aged care service delivery across remote and very remote Australia. It is led by an industry-driven leadership group with the aim of linking workforce issues and the integration of viable quality service delivery for those people living in Australia's most disadvantaged and isolated communities.  The successful applicant must deliver a Summit bringing remote and very remote providers together to engage around remote aged care issues, support the transition to the new Act, reflect on the first year of reform implementation, share lessons learned, and co-design solutions to emerging challenges.  To view the grant opportunity documents, please select the red "Grant Opportunity Documents" button on the left-hand side.
