Quality Supports Program: Quality Supports Therapy Pilot
National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA)
Overview
The Quality Supports Therapy Pilot (the pilot) is part of the NDIA's plan to ensure every NDIA participant can access quality and value for money services. The NDIA has invited a select group of therapy providers to apply for a grant as part of the Quality Supports Program. Only providers who met the eligibility criteria set out in the Quality Supports Therapy Pilot Grant Opportunity Guidelines have been invited to apply and participate in the pilot. The successful applicants will work closely with the NDIA for the duration of the pilot to evaluate the characteristics, costs and benefits associated with the provision of quality therapy supports, including for participants with complex needs. Learnings from the pilot will inform the NDIA's role as market steward, as the NDIA continues to review pricing models as part the commitment to revised pricing approaches. The pilot will commence in early 2026 following a closed non-competitive grant process. The pilot will operate over a 12-month period with a total of $20 million (GST inclusive) in grant funding available for successful applicants.
